Jimi Hendrix Concert Poster

This started out as a sketch in a coffee shop; I was looking for something to draw, so I grabbed the Dec. 2010 cover of Vintage Guitar Magazine and started sketching Jimi on the cover. From there I decided I wanted to do a stylish version in Art Nouveau style but with a modern CG twist.

Then I thought it would be fun to redesign an old Hendrix concert poster. This was an actual concert. The dates, location and participating bands are all real. I might do a post that shows the entire process later.
